Joseph L. Chadwick

Joseph L. Chadwick (1909-1987) wrote under a number of pseudonyms (including “Jack Barton”) in a wide variety of genres, penning 200 short stories, 135 novels, and four non-fiction books about history in his lifetime. He also wrote the stories for episodes of Maverick, Cheyenne, Colt .45, and Zane Grey Theater, several adapted from novels and short stories.
