Thomas Bell

Thomas Bell (1903 – January 17, 1961), born Adalbert Thomas Belejcak, was the author of  The Breed of Basil, The Second Prince (1935), All Brides Are Beautiful (1936) (made into the 1946 movie From This Day Forward) Out of This Furnace (1941)  Till I Come Back to You (1943) (which became the Broadway play The World is Full of Girls) and There Comes a Time (1946). His memoir In the Midst of Life – his account of his battle with cancer — was published posthumously.
