Jan Curran

Jan Curran was a columnist and feature writer for the Contra Costa Times during the 1970s, worked as a publicist and advertising executive in the early 1980s, and began writing for Palm Springs Life magazine in 1985. She also was a feature writer and columnist for The Desert Sun and became their last, full-time society editor in 1988, a position she held until 1996, though she continued to write for the newspaper in the years that followed. She died in 2010. Curran was the mother of four children, including New York Times bestselling authors Lee Goldberg and Tod Goldberg.
